The Maya S. Packer Philanthropic Fund
The M.S.P. Philanthropic fund was founded in 2022 and is a charitable fund run by me through the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. The purpose of the fund is to uplift and aid issues that are close to my heart through donations. I appreciate any and all donations made to my fund and am grateful for the support of my village as I support issues I am passionate about.
youthSpark Fundraiser
In June 2023, I hosted a speaker panel event featuring 4 panelists who are all experts on Atlanta's Juvenile Justice system in their own way. I set a goal of raising $5,000 for youthSpark, an Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides support to teens spanning the entire abuse continuum and advocates for systemic change in the juvenile legal and child welfare systems, with a concentrated focus on vulnerable children and families affected by the juvenile justice. I exceeded this goal, raising over $6,000 for my fund and was able to give a $5,500 grant to youthSpark! I am very proud of succeeding at my first fundraising endeavor and thankful for the support I received.
